"Slowly Back" is the most recent composition in the entire Old Parts series so far, written in January of 2019. The title for this project came from my intention to dust off the part of my brain that composes, something I had neglected to do for a period of time. It was also a test for myself; I wanted to see what kind of string composition I could write and record in a single day.
